AMRA Round 6 Mini Report - Constant Motion Productions

The Mini riders of the 2019 Fly Racing AMRA Offroad Championship Series came to Morristown, Arizona at Mile Marker 4 to take on a challenging track in the unforgiving desert of southwest AZ. With a one mile course, the 50cc racers came out to conquer the desert track. All race is was Edward Reim in the 4-6 year old class and Kyle Riddle in the 7-8 year old class battling for the top spot. After five lead changes over seven laps, it was the youngster Reim that took the victory. Riddle would take second overall and first in class, with Liam Gillespie in the 4-6 class rounding out the top three overall. Within classes, Sean Riddle took third place in 4-6 year old, and Gary Sanders and Tanner Hardcastle took second and third in 7-8 year old. The second race hosted the 65cc’s, with a packed race and a large crowd of spectators and parents supporting their kids. Jon Nordling took an early lead and held it all race, taking the class and overall win. Jesse Blevins-Heck took second overall and second in the 10-11 class and Deegan Fox took third overall and the class win in the 7-9 class. Colton Calmes took third in the 10-11 class, with Grady Mentzel and Drake Powell took second and third in their 7-9 class. Lastly, the Superminis took to their 12 mile course with determination. Dominic Craighill took the holeshot and maintained his lead both laps and took the Supermini win with Jonathan Kirat taking second, four minutes behind Craighill. Jeremiah Campbell took third overall and the 85cc 12-14 win. Matthew Trapp and Ruffin Dodson took second and third in the 12-14 class following Dodson. In the 85cc 9-11 class, Jace Vogt and Jackson Powell finished first and second with both laps completed, and Kayden Sanders took third with one lap completed. The Minis finished round five successfully and am looking forward to the round six stop in Prescott Valley at the Roughrider 100. More info is available at AMRAracing.com and roughrider100.com
